What’s New with DocQ: December 2021 version

December 7, 2021
2 Minute Read

December is here! 🎁  Cue putting up holiday decorations and daydreaming about a little cabin in the woods surrounded by trees covered in snow. No really, check out that little cabin in the woods and then try to stop daydreaming about it. We’re preparing to stuff our bellies and gearing up for winter holidays and the start of a new year. Come on 2022!

While December brings fun, family and food it also brings new features from DocQ!

Workflow Updates

Now you can split a document within a workflow all while keeping it within the same workflow. Splitting documents isn’t new for DocQ but now you can split documents in several parts, send these parts to do their respective ‘thing’ and then merge them back into the original document’s workflow.  That is a lot – we know. Just picture complex processes with many parts/pieces/collaboration – now being controlled by a simple workflow step. 🥷

Enhanced Rich Text Support

We continue to add to our library to support more and more and the DOCX templates now support new editing tags for text formatting. This is going to be pretty transparent to the end user but just know that we continue to build out these libraries always trying to stay a few steps ahead. 🙌

Improved Decision Engine

Our decision engine is incredibly powerful 💪  and allows users to define what happens next to a document depending on pieces of information. We’ve added a new condition which is a “contains” operator that can compare strings from email addresses.

The team is still heads down working on that major enhancement that we are still keeping a bit of secret.  Good news is it’s coming in early 2022 and we think you’re going to love it.
